On Friday the 17th of May, Pilgrim School was ready for a Grand Opening Celebration! The whole school congregated around the entrance to the new Friendship Garden, which is located next to the Kiss’n’Drop entrance of the School.

Students led us in prayer as we gave thanks to God for blessing us with our Friendship Garden, where our community will engage in many activities for years to come. Students will be watching things grow, nurturing life, caring, participating in manual tasks, sharing produce, and many other great skills. It was a lovely time of celebrating something new and exciting, that will enrich our School nutritionally, emotionally and spiritually.

We want to give a special thanks to the staff involved in dreaming, designing, ordering, and the preparations that went into the launch of the garden.
