One of the most rewarding aspects of our time in the garden has been seeing our older, more experienced students confidently support and guide the younger students with a variety of gardening tasks. Their kindness, encouragement, and teamwork have helped create a positive and inclusive environment where everyone can learn and grow together.

It has been wonderful to welcome many of our Foundation students into the garden, where they have enthusiastically embraced the activities. This term, we were also delighted to have some of our LEAP students join us.

In Garden Club this term, we have been busy raising seeds, nurturing and transplanting seedlings, and tackling the many weeds that appear throughout the garden. We have also been carefully saving any self-seeding Viola and Alyssum plants to help them continue flourishing

Phoebe asks kindly each week: “Can I please save some of the plants in the ground?” and proceeds to initiate transplanting Violas and Alyssums into pots.
