What's been happening in Indonesian?

In Indonesian, students in Years 5 and 6 learned about shadow puppets during Term 2. They made their own shadow puppets and wrote shadow puppet plays. Over the last two weeks, they have performed these plays to their buddy classes.

This term, students are learning about different environments in Indonesia and the animals that live in them. Students in the Early Years classes are learning the names of the animals and describing them by colours, numbers and how they move; while students in Years 3 and 4 have been learning language to talk about many aspects of animals in preparation for writing information reports in Indonesian about animals. Year 5 and 6 students are beginning to explore some of the environmental issues that affect Indonesia.
